How Do We Speak To One Another?

Eph. 4:15-16 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
There are times that we allow our thoughts and desires to be the leading force of our conversation. Sometimes we fail to evaluate the way in which we deliver our message. There are messages that we must deliver that are difficult to give, but is needed for spiritual correction.

Walkin' and Talkin'

(Poem written in 1977 by my mother- Frankie Donahoe)
Daughter and I went walkin'
On a sunny day in June
Busily talkin' of whatever came to mind
Approachin' home she bent and picked
A flower for her mom
Said I don't know what it's called
But I like it's colors of lavender with a touch of red
Placin' its stem in water
I named it love
